In these troubling and confusing times, how often do we yearn for some good old fashioned straight talking common sense from a leader we can look up to? A leader with a proven track record of achievement, not a litany of empty platitudes and broken promises.

Politicians on both sides of the House have turned their backs on the people who trusted them to be their voice of reason in that crazy world of state and national politics.

It's time to remind them, all of them, from all parties, that we the people put them in office to give us a voice, not to give them a career. I hope this blog will inspired conservative thinkers to examine closely our elected officials, and hold their feet to the fire.

Respect is earned, not bought with glossy fliers and glitzy tv ads. It comes from achievement.
